See the Difference in our Shelters
The Surrey Urban Mission has been operating shelters in Central Surrey for over 30 years. Starting in a Church Basement offering shelter during the winter months to those in need, we now provide care for our guests at four different shelter locations, providing over 120 safe beds each night to Surrey residents. Look below to learn more about each of our locations.
SUMS Place
SUMS Place is the first shelter established by Surrey Urban Mission. What began over a decade ago as a temporary refuge during the coldest and rainiest nights has evolved into a 24/7 operation. SUMS Place has provided thousands with not only a warm meal but also a safe place to stay. It stands as the cornerstone of our commitment to support and care for those in need.
